Long Point Country Bayfest

There’s so much to see and do while in Norfolk County.

Come visit Port Rowan, located minutes away from the beautiful beaches of Long Point, the world famous United Nations Biosphere environment, wineries and lakeside vistas.

Every year, Port Rowan hosts Bayfest, our annual Labour Day celebration which has been celebrated for more than 30 years. Originally known as Tomato Fest, the name changed to Bayfest in 2001.

This year marks an incredible milestone as we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Bayfest in Port Rowan. For twenty-five years, Bayfest has brought our community together to celebrate summer, local talent, waterfront living, and the spirit that makes our town so special.

What began as a small community gathering has grown into a cherished annual tradition, welcoming families, visitors, businesses, and volunteers who return year after year to share in the fun.

Bayfest has always been more than just a festival. It’s a celebration of community pride, local partnerships, and the natural beauty that surrounds us near Long Point Bay. Reaching 25 years would not have been possible without the dedication of our volunteers, the generosity of our sponsors, the support of local businesses, and the enthusiasm of residents and visitors alike. Your commitment and community spirit have shaped Bayfest into what it is today.

Bayfest features three days of activities, many for kids, with a fantastic parade Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. and fireworks that night. Join us for food, vendors and great entertainment found down by the waterfront and in town. Plus there are plenty of other fun events for the family such as hula-hoop contests, a plastic frog toss, in town and additional events held at nearby Long Point.

Come for the day or stay for a while. There’s a lot to see and do in the area!

25th Anniversary Business Decorating Contest

The Bayfest committee is holding a business decorating contest for the Port Rowan area. Decorate your business in this year’s theme: Celebrating Bayfest’s 25th Anniversary!
